Erie County Sheriff’s Deputy Jeff Ely stopped a vehicle on March 21 for allegedly traveling 73 miles per hour in a 45 mile per hour zone and failing to stop at a red light. Nebraska’s First Lady Sally Ganem spoke to a group of concerned citizens, along with a panel of law enforcement and civic leaders, at North Platte High School on Monday.
